Wes than the Best
A couple months back I posed the question: could Wes Anderson's latest,The Darjeeling Limited, be *gulp* racist?! I wasn't sure since I hadn't seen the movie, but I had concerns given the trailer.
Well the movie's out and the verdicts in: it is very racist, obnoxiously so. Or so says Jonah Weiner for Slate in a piece titled Unbearable Whiteness. And unlike me, he's actually seen the movie.
