United States Social Forum Film Festival
Call for Submissions
June 27 - July 1, 2007
The United States Social Forum will be the largest gathering of progressives in over a decade. Community-based organizations, Indigenous nations, unions, academics, policy and advocacy organizations will come together to affirmatively articulate the values and strategies of progressive civil society in the United States.
The USSF Film Festival will showcase documentaries focusing on social, political, economic and environmental justice. New films without theatrical distribution will be given priority. Works highlighting issues that are not represented in the forum plenaries and workshops are encouraged. The film festival will also provide space for groups that are part of the USSF to screen their own productions.
